After not fronting up on the Saturday for 35 minutes it was important to bounce back and the XV put together an excellent performance against a XV who were always going to struggle against the pace in the Felsted backline. William Malins stole the headlines again with his second hat-trick of the season, but the performance was signified by fantastic support play and finishing. Oliver Brookes-Ward who was playing his first season as a forward was proving ever present in open play and Rory Hartley again led with passion and skill. The XV still will be annoyed at conceding turnovers in midfield and it will be an area to focus on in the matches to come. Congratulations to Cy Weaver who had secured a starting place after showing good form in the 2nd XV.
