2nd XV vs Wymondham

Result: Won  15-8
Tries:  McLeod, Joyce, Seacombe

A slow start saw Wymondham score early in the first half having failed to deal effectively with a good long kick.  This was then compounded by a poor decision not to kick an easy penalty, which put more pressure on the team and saw Wymondham then spend the whole of the rest first half camped in the Felsted half, except for an excellent kick chase that led to a try just prior to half time for James McLeod.

A few honest words at half time saw a changed team - some good kicking from Tom Edwards kept the pressure on the opposition, much better rucking and work around the fringes led to a mazy run from George Hagan and a well taken try out wide for the inform Marcus Joyce.  The final try came off a well worked back row move in the opposition 22 for Sam Seacombe who capped a very good performance all round.  The boys were understandably delighted with their second half performance and a win in the final home match of the season.
