2nd XV vs Gresham's

Result: Draw 12-12
Review: Determined to prove that the work we had done as a squad on handling skills all week had paid off, the 2nds made the long journey to Gresham’s hopeful of a good win. A sound first half saw us up at the break 7-0 but in the process we had had thrown away 4 good try scoring opportunities with woeful handling in the backs. This was then backed up by a good early score in the 2nd half and with the Gresham's forwards struggling to keep up one more score would have opened the floodgates BUT, sadly not! The poor handling in the backs continued and Gresham's did well to claw their way back into the game with a try following a penalty in the left hand corner and then a charge down and a lucky bounce for a score directly under the posts which they converted. Much disappointment for the long journey home but who said the game was ever supposed to easy!!
